Using Nourishment

These terms apply to Nourishment, provided by Jakob Langtry under the Lab86 name. By using the app after these terms take effect, you agree to them. You must be at least 16 years old and have any parental or guardian permission required where you live.

Keep your account secure, provide accurate account information, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for the activity and content you knowingly submit through your account.

Personal support, not medical care

Nourishment is a personal wellbeing tool. It is not a medical service, diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for advice from a qualified clinician or dietitian. It is not intended to monitor emergencies or ensure someone’s safety.

Nutrition estimates, recipe information, movement calculations, and AI-generated text can be incomplete or wrong. Check ingredient and allergen information independently. Do not rely on estimates or automated alerts for medical decisions. If tracking causes distress, stop using the relevant features and seek appropriate support. Contact local emergency services for an emergency.

Your content and partner features

You retain any rights you have in your photos, notes, recipes, and other content. You permit Nourishment and its service providers to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the features you use, including AI processing and sharing with your paired partner. This permission does not give us ownership of your content.

Only upload or share content you are entitled to use. Do not share another person’s private or health information without their permission. Content already viewed, copied, or saved by a partner cannot necessarily be recalled by changing a setting or removing a record.

Recipe and other external links belong to their respective publishers. Their content, availability, and terms can change; Nourishment does not guarantee them.

Respectful and lawful use

Do not use Nourishment to harass others, impersonate someone, share unlawful content, access another person’s records without permission, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. We may restrict access where necessary to address misuse, security problems, or legal requirements.

Privacy and account requests

The Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how partner features, Apple Health, Google sign-in, and service providers work. For account access, correction, or deletion requests, contact jakob@lab86.io.

Availability and changes

Nourishment is being developed, and features may change or be interrupted. Keep a separate copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of automatically generated information.

We may update these terms. The published version will show its effective date, and material changes will be communicated where required. If you do not agree to the applicable terms, stop using the app and contact us about your records. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
